Our Purpose
Community for Humanity is a purpose-driven organisation
The team has identified some service gaps in our community and established this organisation to help fill those gaps and deliver and empower current community services that can better support the needs of our community.
What we do
Community for Humanity is committed to providing employment support, housing support, mentoring, cultural support, community safety, social cohesion, and connection with Afghan War Veterans to our community.
Our Values
Generosity
We have open minds and helping hands. We contribute and share our resources and time to support our Afghan and multicultural community in Australia and preserve the Afghan code of altruism.
Harmony
We believe in living and working in harmony in a multicultural society as our core strength within our community.
Empathy
Our existence is based on our compassion for others. We are kind-hearted, have empathy for our community, and are determined to support them.
Integrity
We work and act with integrity in our community. We understand that integrity is the foundation for our sustainability and working with the community and everyone we deal with. How we work will be based on democratic principles.
Engaged
We do not work in a void and value the engagement of our multicultural community and the people we work with.
Acknowledgement of the Country
The Community for Humanity (C4H) acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and acknowledges and pays respect to their Elders, past and present.
The C4H celebrates, values, and includes people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, bodies, and abilities.
